OUR HR POLICY ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (EMPLOYEES AND JOB CANDIDATES)

As KRCPACK Flexible L.T.D Human Resources Department, we attach utmost importance to the protection and processing of Personal Data in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and we act with this care in all our planning and activities. 

We do not only evaluate the protection and processing of Personal Data, which is the basis of the privacy of private life, in order to comply with the legislation, but we put the value we attach to human beings at the heart of our approach.

With this awareness, as the Human Resources Department, we take all administrative and technical measures for the protection and processing of Personal Data. In order to ensure compliance with the policy, studies are carried out to ensure employee awareness, necessary compliance processes are carried out for new employees and necessary arrangements are made.

What are Examples of Your Personal Data?

Full Name, Home Address, Email Address, Citizenship Number, Driver’s License Serial Number, Identity Serial Number, Fingerprints, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, X-ray, MRI etc. records, Blood type, Telephone Number, Country, City, Zip Code or District, Age, Gender, Criminal Record, Health records, Bank account number, Curriculum Vitae, CV, Academic information, Marriage status, Information on children, Emergency information, Disability status, Military service records etc.

What are the purposes and legal grounds for processing personal data?

Our company is committed to providing a safe and secure working environment for both candidates and employees;

Method of collecting personal data;

Your personal data is collected by our Company through your filling out the job application form, CVs you have shared, job applications made on our website, filling out the forms defined in our procedures by our HR department, your on-the-job documents you have provided during recruitment, the forms you have filled out during trainings, your AGI Forms, fingerprint and overtime forms for your daily attendance records, and HR Forms received in full as a result of the requested information.

How are personal data stored and protected?

» Your personal data will be kept confidential in the database and systems of our company in accordance with Article 12 of the PDPA; It will not be shared with third parties in any way other than legal obligations and the regulations specified in this document. 
» Our company is obliged to prevent the unlawful processing of personal data in accordance with Article 12 of the PDPA, to prevent unauthorized access, to take software measures such as access management and physical security measures.

How long is the retention period for personal data?

» Your Personal Data will be kept by us for a period of 15 years as long as you work, and for a period of 15 years if you leave, taking into account the periods defined in the relevant laws.

What are your rights under Article 11 of the LPPD?

In accordance with PDPA, by applying to our Company, your personal data;

a) To learn whether it has been processed,
b) To request information if it has been processed,
c) To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
d) To know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically / abroad,
e) To request correction if it is incomplete / incorrectly processed,
f) To request anonymization and deletion within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the PDPA,
g) To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (e) and (f) above to the third parties to whom it is transferred,
h) Object to the occurrence of a result against you due to analysis exclusively by automated systems,
i) If you suffer damage due to unlawful processing, you have the right to demand compensation for the damage.

Where do I apply for the status of my personal data?

For situations related to your Personal Data as defined in this policy;

» In writing, you must apply to the Human Resources Directorate with the PDPA HR Application Form.

How many days does it take to finalize my application for the status of my personal data?

Your request, which you have submitted with your petition or e-mail, will be answered within 30 days via the same communication method.
